Hey, all. So I lost my TTZ about a year ago & actually loved working on it. A friend of mine has one as well & he's been having a misfiring issue with cylinder #6. I used the whole screwdriver to ear and heard nothing going on. Here's what I've checked on the car: Installed 400hp powerpack from Z1 last year; car ran great after. - Ohmed injector @ 13.8ohms - verified 12.7vdc @ injector connector - checked spark plug...eventually swapped plug with cylinder #2 - verified 12.7vdc @ coilpack connector - ohmed coilpack itself @ .9ohms. Eventually swapped coilpack with #2 My question is: because I measured my injector @ spec ratings...does that 100% mean it's working? I ran into issues like these quite often with my last Z, but it was due to my car pushing a little more power and using stock injectors, so I kind of had a routine to check cylinder fire. But I'm stumped with this one. Any other suggestions or heads up would be greatly appreciated. We were actually suspicious of an air leak sound every time I'd pull the throttle cable. Like air was sucking in from somewhere near the top of the plenum. If there was a vacuum leak...could it possibly take only one cylinder out? Thanks!
